Almagea Socially responsible projects in 2023 - a look at the year behind us

Godina 2023. za nas je od samog početka započela humanitarno. Javni apel za skupljanje financijske pomoći za liječenje Ratnice Lave, djevojčice Lave Petrušić za koju je čula gotovo cijela Hrvatska, nije nam dao niti sekunde razmišljanja. Godinu smo odmah započeli s uplatom 1.333 EUR (10 000 kn) na račun Lavine majke Petre which successfully and in a very short time collected the necessary amount for Lava's treatment in America. Lava's strength and persistence came to the fore quickly, so in 2023. ended with wonderful news; Lava successfully takes his first steps, and Lava continues his treatment in Croatia.

Brzo nakon toga, u javnosti se pojavio još jedan apel za financijsku pomoć. Ovoga puta radilo se o Udruzi za zaštitu životinja Dog&Go koja se zbog visokih financijskih dugova našla u nepovoljnoj situaciji te joj je prijetilo zatvaranje. Odlučili smo se odazvati ovom apelu te smo Association Dog&Go donirali iznos od 500 EUR (3.750 kn). The association successfully covered all financial costs, their noble volunteers continued their humanitarian work, and many happy faces are still wagging their tails, each new day hoping to find their warm and happy home.

I u 2023.g. odlučili smo pomoći radu Paws in the Heart Association iz Ogulina te smo ih razveselili donacijom od 500 EUR (3.750 kn). We follow the work of this Association and the efforts made by the Association's volunteers in this area for the welfare of animals, which is why we have supported them for another year in a row. And we want these muzzles to be adopted as soon as possible and find their warm and happy homes.

Almagea kolektiv čini velik broj žena čiji je udio 78%. Odlično funkcioniramo jer znamo da si međusobno trebamo biti potpora, izmjenjivati iskustva i davati savjete kako u poslovnim, tako ponekad i u privatnim odlukama. Nažalost, nasilje nad ženama postao je sve češći problem današnjeg društva, a vijesti koje susrećemo svakodnevno nas razočaraju i šokiraju. Odlučili smo stoga u 2023.g. potpomognuti rad Autonomne ženske kuće Zagreb te smo donirali 800 EUR (6.000 kn). We wish all residents a speedy recovery and a happy and safe future. Solidarity is what further strengthens our Almagea team.

Obnovili smo i Ugovor o stipendiranju s Association Dora koji je je aktivan od 2022.g. te ga produljili i na godinu ispred nas. Dora je humanitarna udruga u području skrbi o djeci i mladima u Republici Hrvatskoj, a novčanom mjesečnom  donacijom pomažemo u obrazovanju i edukaciji njihovih štićenika te doprinosimo kvaliteti njihova života. Na mladima svijet ostaje, to su generacije koje će kreirati našu budućnost pa nam je iznimno drago pružiti im novčanu podršku te ih pripremiti za sve životne odgovornosti i zadatke koji ih očekuju.

Iz godine u godinu we are frequent sponsors at numerous professional congresses that we attend, a thousands of our donated products annually pomažu brojnim studentima i različitim Udrugama u uspješnom provođenju aktivnosti diljem Hrvatske.  S radošću se odazovemo na sve pozive za donacijom koje smo u mogućnosti ostvariti te ćemo ovu praksu nastaviti i dalje.

Kao i u prethodnim godinama, i u 2023.g. pridali smo pažnju tome da all our promotional materials to be biodegradable, but also for all packaging to be ecological. Kontinuirano we make sure that we produce as little waste as possible inside and outside the office te da we separate the waste correctly, a we continued cooperation with a company that buys larger quantities of our office waste and disposes of it properly.

Health is our first priority, so all our employees have contracted additional health insurance in order to prevent and preserve health.

We will continue with these same steps in the year ahead. We are looking forward to 2024, to all the new projects that await us and to all the good deeds that have become an integral part of our business. We are aware that we cannot help everyone, but we know that each of us can help someone. It is with these thoughts that we welcome 2023. and we are ready to welcome the year ahead.
