What is the difference between turmeric and curcumin?
Turmeric (lat.Curcuma longa) is a plant from the ginger family, from whose underground tree the spice of the same name is obtained: turmeric, characteristic of the region of India and Southeast Asia and their culinary culture, and a special branch of Eastern medicine called Ayurveda. Curcuminoids are biologically active compounds, and according to their chemical composition, they belong to the group of polyphenols. Out of a total of three types of curcuminoids, curcumin gives the turmeric root its expressive yellow color and is responsible for its strong antioxidant and anti-inflammatory effect.
What benefits does polyphenol curcumin have on the body?
The polyphenol curcumin in numerous previous studies has shown strong anti-inflammatory, anti-infective and antioxidant effects and works to alleviate gastrointestinal complaints, cardiovascular and neurodegenerative diseases.The disadvantages of native curcumin, which is found in most products on the market, are: low solubility in water and instability in the acidic medium characteristic of the stomach, which is why native curcumin has extremely low bioavailability.
What is bioavailability?
The term bioavailability refers to the quantity of a nutrient introduced into the organism that is actually digested, absorbed and metabolized by biochemical processes.
How can the absorption of curcumin in the body be improved?

What is the specialty of using NovaSOL® Curcumin?
NovaSOL® Curcumin is soluble in water, stable in the acidic pH of the stomach, and therefore has extremely high bioavailability, which has been proven by a scientific study on human subjects. In that study, it showed superior bioavailability compared to other forms of curcumin and 185 times greater bioavailability than native curcumin. That is why relatively small doses are needed to achieve a beneficial effect. Curcumin Forte+ contains exactly that special NovaSOL® Curcumin in an effective dose of 34.9 milligrams.
What is the daily recommended and maximum daily dose of Curcumin Forte+?
We recommend the use of: one capsule a day for the prevention of diseases, maintenance of immunity or maintenance of an already existing balance. We recommend two capsules a day for conditions characterized by tangible and visible signs of inflammation such as pain/swelling of joints/redness/itching. We recommend three capsules a day for more serious conditions and diseases with intense, expressive and recurring symptoms. The maximum daily dose is three capsules, which corresponds to the use of 17,400 milligrams of native curcumin, or approximately 696 grams of turmeric powder.
Who is not recommended to use Curcumin Forte+?
Curcumin Forte+ has no official contraindications. We recommend that people who are on anticoagulant therapy, have gallstones, and pregnant and lactating women, consult a doctor before use.
What is the age limit for using Curcumin Forte+?
The product can be used by persons older than 12 years or with a body weight greater than 40 kg.
