What to eat while breastfeeding?

Did you know that the nutrients that the mother takes in through food and nutritional supplements are excreted in the milk and indirectly protect the infant during breastfeeding? Quality nutrition during the lactation period is important for proper milk production and quality. Special emphasis should be placed on the adequate intake of liquid, energy and nutrients, and this especially applies to women who exclusively breastfeed their infants, which is desirable until the 6th month of life.
